Anaheed is the host and producer of two major recurring belly dance events in the Southern California area: The Perfumes of Araby Swap Meet and "Anaheed's Beledy Show" - formerly called Cabaret Beledy (see below for details). In addition, she also hosts special engagements, such as concerts, workshops, and other related productions by popular local artists and out-of-town dancers.

The Granada Pavilion closed in October 2019 so our Belly Dance Swap Meet is on hold until further notice. Thank you everyone for your past support, attendance, and helping to create our wonderful event! We had a great run and went out with shimmies and smiles!

Dancing goes on all afternoon with solos up to 5-7 min, and groups of three or more 8-10 min. In order to perform we ask that you register in advance. Please use the sign-up option below.

Attention: Please call or email Anaheed if you do not receive an email confirmation within one week of your registration! (the net gremlins may have eaten your email!)

HOW TO REGISTER: Use the on-line Registration Form to reserve a time to perform. Click on the link above to go to the form. Fill out the fields and hit the "Submit Information" button at the end when you're done. If your information was submitted correctly, you must reach the "thank you" page, which says "You successfully submitted your registration form to the next Swapmeet event." You should also expect to receive an email from Anaheed confirming your registration within 1 week. Please call or email Anaheed if you have not received your confirmation.

Videos & Photos at Swap: There will be a professional videographer on site for your convenience. Please sign up for videos with this vendor when you arrive at the event.   Still photographers may be present and you are welcome to make your own arrangements with any individual photographer.

In 2007 Café Beledy became Cabaret Beledy and was held at the beautiful Gotta Dance Studio Theater in Granada Hills. For several years we were lucky to have exciting live music by Var Daghdevirian, Rico Orrell and Maurice Saba, plus wonderful dance artists such as Amara, Anja, Kamaal, Catharae, Jorjana, and of course Anaheed and members of Perfumes of Araby. Regrettably, in 2011, the studio had to relocate and Cabaret Beledy went on hiatus. In 2013 with popular demand and a re-energized format, we brought back our variety show with a new name "Anaheed's Beledy Show" and the same fine quality.

Anaheed's Beledy Show will continue to feature local dancers, teachers and top students performing to our same wonderful live orchestra or recorded music of their choice. Please join us for a variety-packed evening at the Granada Pavilion in a friendly, familiar location with plenty of free parking! Watch here for the latest developments.
